Malta Ukraine Flights

Air Malta will start operating a weekly (Tuesday) flight to Kiev, the Capital city of Ukraine, from the 19th of 2018.

Air Malta will start operating a weekly direct flight to Ukraine’s capital city, Kiev. The service will begin on the 19th of June. This new service was announced last October during a state visit to the Ukrainian capital by the President of Malta, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca. Visa-free travel to both Ukrainians and Maltese visitors will be granted.

“The presence in Ukraine of a strong and diverse trade delegation from Malta shows just how determined the Maltese authorities and businesses are to pursue closer collaboration between our authorities and business communities, to ensure that we grow and prosper together,” President Coleiro Preca said.

Air Malta’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Sies stated, “Kiev is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe. Through the introduction of this route, we are now increasing our services to Eastern Europe, and in the process, we are consolidating our position in this region. We shall be tapping into a new market which will stimulate more passenger traffic between both countries.

Sies added that the announcement is another achievement from Air Malta. It is further good news that they are continuing to expand for the local tourism industry and the population of the islands. People will now have more opportunities to discover new destinations.

The flight schedule will operate as follows:

Every Tuesday, KM 574
Departure – Malta – 15:00 / Arrival - Kiev 18:15
Departure – Kiev – 19:00 / Arrival – Malta 22:15
